DesignerDIY™️ – The Clawfoot Conundrum

So this pretty much sums up my Sunday…

As an individual with a non-essential job, I find myself pretty much ‘scrolling the feed’ for hours on end due to the isolation restrictions imposed upon us.

So, as a home decorating enthusiast, you can imagine my delight when I stumble across a post like this:

After mindlessly voting on one of the options, I decided that I would go about my day as usual…only I couldn’t stop thinking about his project.

So…although many of us may find that we have time to tackle some projects that we have been neglecting, I think it’s important that we consider the entire possibility of the project before we get started.

Therefore, I highly recommend that you start with the ‘end in mind.’ By that I mean, if money/time/etc was no object, how would you finish the space? Keeping in mind the existing elements of the space, in this case it is the flooring that impacts my decision most as well as forecasted trends for resale.

As a do-it-yourself enthusiast and former Home and Design Editor, here is what I would recommend for this space:

(PS – love you Jack! Lol 😘)
